Bella a high school senior falls in love with a vampire. I've never been a fan of vampire stories this one is one worth sinking your teeth into.

The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie

Story of Spokane Indian who leaves his school on the reservation to attend an all-white farm town school. (On Read for a Lifetime list)

Playing for Pizza by John Grisham

I'm crazy for all things Italian and have visited Italy several times. This Grisham novel didn't disappoint and who knew American football was popular there too.

The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke

Set in Venice the Thief Lord leads a band of misplaced children.  All have secrets that lead to a spellbinding conclusion.

Falconer's Knot - Mary Hoffman

Whisked off to Italy again.  Set in fourteenth century Italy this book provides rich details of the time period and the color process used in making religious paintings.
