In order to be admitted to the Media Center a student must present a valid ID.
Any student with overdue materials or an administrative block may be refused admittance.
Passes are required periods 1, 2, 7 & 8/ During lunch periods students may enter the Media Center without a pass
any time and may leave any time until the last 10 minutes.
Loan Policies
Books Circulating Fiction and Nonfiction 3 weeks, 1 renewal
Reserves May be checked out at 3:30 PM and must be returned before 1st period the next
school day.
Reference Reference books are for
use in the Media Center, however, there are encyclopedias and dictionaries available for check out.
Videos Faculty only
Magazines and Newspaper 1 week (Current Issues do not circulate)

Overdue Policy
Prompt return of materials is expected from
borrowers as a consideration to others who may need the materials.
Overdue notices are sent to students on a regular basis. Any concerns regarding these notices should be addressed immediately.
Students with overdue
materials will not be permitted access to the Media Center and no additional checkouts will be made to such students until the all overdue materials are returned.
Failure to return or to respond to notices will result in a referral to the discipline office.
Lost Materials
Materials that are lost should be reported at
once. Lost and/or damaged materials and equipment must be paid for by the borrower. Full replacement price is charged for these items regardless of age or condition of material. Refunds will be
cheerfully given if lost material is found.
Food and Beverages
In order to protect our books and equipment food and beverages will not be permitted in the Media Center. All items must be left at the main entrance in the food/drink bin.
Electronic Listening Devices
Electronic equipment is
permitted in the Media Center and must be played at a level that cannot be heard by others. Cell phones are to be in off mode and usage is not permitted.
Outerwear
No student will be admitted who is wearing
outerwear (jackets, coats, hoods, hats) as per school policy. A student wearing such will be asked to go to his/her locker.
