Mission Statement

s a comprehensive high school with a long standing tradition of academic excellence, the James B. Conant school community is committed to developing lifelong learners who are able to employ critical thinking and problem solving skills in an increasingly diverse global society.  In order to accomplish our mission, the following goals have been established:

• to assist each individual in taking responsibility for his/her own actions
   
• to provide experiences which enhance academic skills, vocational abilities, positive values, and self-confidence
   
• to foster good citizenship and personal development by providing opportunities for service to the community
   
• to encourage  students to acquire strong technological skills and to adapt these skills to an ever-changing environment
